I've wondered about this too. Obama never really directly attacked Hillary; what I saw was the opposite, and am still seeing it. I think it might be the sense of entitlement she carries with her, a sense that Americans seem to hold very strongly as everything else slips away.
Obama ruined Hillary's chances for a perfect storybook career, and somebody has to pay for her dose of reality. Of course, her followers included themselves in her idyllic narrative, and they too must have someone to blame for their own disillusionment. Regardless of how nicely he did it, Obama did the worst thing possible to Hillary: he beat her.

I'm guessing Hillary's supporters skew toward white people that are subconsciously threatened by black male genitalia...yet still cherish warm childhood memories of tenacious women in unfashionable pantsuits...
